Hannah Georgas previews stunning grandma-inspired album

Vancouver singer-songwriter Hannah Georgas swings through studio q with her striking new record, For Evelyn.

Hannah Georgas' stunning new album For Evelyn is much more than a sentimental tribute to a family member. It's a bold new musical statement from one of Canada's finest songwriters.

The Vancouver singer-songwriter performs three songs, including two premieres, from an album she describes as her most difficult to date. She also sits down with Shad to discuss the profound relationship that inspired the record.

"My grandma is coming up on 100 years old, and I wanted to make a tribute to her," says Georgas. "She's a person in my life who has always been so patient and selfless and kind."
