Michael Feuerstack is revered by his peers in Canadian music —including Bry Webb, Basia Bulat and members of Arcade Fire. But while Feuerstack has fans in high places, he hasn't received the same recognition as many of his peers from the Montreal music scene.

Today, we try to change that. Feuerstack and his band perform four songs from The Forgettable Truth, an album packed with supervising turns and smart, funny lyrics. He also sits down with guest host PiyaChattopadhyay to discuss what he makes of his "hidden gem" status.
