In a segment that we call the q Thursday Headliner, we're kicking off the show with a live performance from a band or artist we think you need to hear.

This week, Toronto R&B singer Amaal brings her smooth and sultry sound to the q studio for a live performance and chat with host Tom Power. Her debut EP is called Black Dove and it's out everywhere now.
