One makeup artist's journey from refugee camp to Oscars red carpet
Celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo will spend this month flying back and forth to Los Angeles — but that trip is nothing compared to the one that brought him to Canada.

It's Hollywood awards season, which means Hung Vanngo is on the move. The celebrity makeup artist gets requests from people like Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez, Julianne Moore, Katy Perry, Amy Adams, Gwyneth Paltrow and the Olsen twins. He'll spend this month flying back and forth to Los Angeles — but that trip is nothing compared to the one that brought him to Canada. He joined Tom Power to share his journey from a refugee boat out of Vietnam to salons in Western Canada and the Oscars red carpet.
