Gary the Unicorn is the breakout star of CBC Kids' The Studio K Show, the founder of Gary's Hug Club and co-host of The Story Store podcast. Originally from Unicorn Hills, Gary's hobbies include tap-dancing and helping. His best friend is a moose named Mr. Orlando and, most importantly, he loves hugs.

The man behind the puppet is Jason Hopley, an accomplished children's entertainer and puppeteer who's forged an award-winning path on YTV, TVO, Nickelodeon and the CBC. He's one of the creative minds behind the world of CBC Kids and Studio K.
