Chef Matty Matheson's new cook book shows his fans a different side

Matty Matheson shares the stories behind some of his favourite recipes from his new cookbook.

Matty Matheson is the outspoken, irreverent chef known for Viceland shows like Dead Set on Life and It's Suppertime!. His new book Matty Matheson: A Cookbook features 75 recipes that are close to his heart, and takes readers on a journey of memories from his childhood in the Maritimes, to the kitchens in Toronto where he rose to fame.

Matty Matheson joined Tom Power live on q to talk about some of his favourite recipes from the book, how his grandfather inspired him to become a chef, and why he wanted to show his audience a different side.
