SonReal (a.k.a. Aaron Hoffman) is one of Canada's most exciting musical voices right now. The rapper and songwriter has been nominated for multiple Juno Awards and this spring he released his sophomore album, The Aaron LP.

It's a kind of collaboration between the two sides of himself, SonReal and Aaron, as well as a personal reflection on his father's death. He sat down with host Tom Power in the q music studio to talk about the album and perform some new music for us.

SonReal is heading out on tour with a few Canadian stops. The Aaron LP is out everywhere now.
