Since his days as Sulu aboard the starship Enterprise, George Takei has been regarded as an important pop culture figure. He has shot up to superstar status with his presence on social media, garnering close to 8 million fans and followers. Now 'Uncle George', is the subject of a new documentary, To Be Takei, chronicling his life through his imprisonment at a Japanese-American internment camp to his gay rights activism. George sat down with Brent earlier this year to talk about the film, and his incredible life.
