Think of it as the aid world's answer to The Office. Kenya's first mockumentary The Samaritans is all about "Aid for Aid," an NGO with an ambiguous name and no apparent cause. The online comedy show is the brainchild of Kenyan filmmaker Hussein Kurji, who says there are more than 4,000 NGOs in his country, and a satire was long overdue.
