Researchers say that a 'sleep crisis' is heading our way. Two recent studies have found that lack of sleep can put you at risk for cardiovascular disease and increased anger.

Sleep crisis

Human beings spend about a third of our lives sleeping. We all need sleep. It's time to rest, recharge, dream.

But, how much sleep did you get last night? What about over the past week?

About a third of Canadian adults get less than the recommended seven to nine hours per night.

We live in a sleep-deprived nation. Experts call it an "epidemic" of sleeplessness and that it's harming our health, our economy and ever our personal lives.

Our question this week: How are you coping with a lack of sleep?
