After three years of wandering, a lone wolf finds love

Since 2011, a gray wolf nicknamed Journey has been travelling hundreds of kilometres through Oregon and California by himself. Now, it seems, the lone wolf - also known as OR7 - may have finally found a mate. And he may even be a father....

Since 2011, a gray wolf nicknamed Journey has been travelling hundreds of kilometres through Oregon and California by himself. Now, it seems, the lone wolf - also known as OR7 - may have finally found a mate. And he may even be a father.
John Stephenson has been tracking Journey for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He tells Carol it's almost a miracle that OR7 found a female, after living so far from any known wolf pack.

UPDATE! Biologists now say OR7 is raising a litter of pups.
