Last week, we put a call out for your questions about the CBC: its future, its mandate, whether the public broadcaster should get more funding, or be abolished. In a studio interview, Carol puts some of those questions to Hubert Lacroix -- along with a few of her own.

Mr. Lacroix, who has overseen three budget cuts in his six years as president of CBC, talks about the challenges facing the public broadcaster in a digital era, the possibilities of a PBS or BBC-style funding arrangement, and explains why he won't resign in protest to the cuts.
