He lays out the evidence in his book "Sword of the Spirit, Shield of Faith: Religion in American War and Diplomacy". The book is nominated for the Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction. Carol interviewed Andrew Preston last week before we learned that he won this 2013 prize!
