South Dakota motorcycle rally
A doctor in South Dakota says he'd love to be able to put the brakes on this weekend's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally — but can only hope it won't drive the kind of COVID-19 spread last year's gathering did. 

Emperor penguins threatened 
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says emperor penguins should be listed as "threatened." But new research looking at the birds' future tells us that may be an understatement.
