A man in Clarenville, Newfoundland shaved his beard on Sunday for the first time in nearly 40 years

Newfoundland's Ralph "Boonie" Lethbridge woke up a whole new man this week. A man with a new face. A man without a beard. 

On Sunday, Boonie shaved his beard for the first time in nearly four decades to raise money for ALS research. Quite a bit of money as it turns out.
