Donation bin death
Earlier this week, a homeless advocate from Maple Ridge, BC died after an accident in a clothing donation bin. Anita Hauck was just 45 years old. Her mother tells us about the work Ms. Hauck did in her community. 

Watt-Cloutier Award
For years, Inuit leader Sheila Watt-Cloutier has been fighting to make climate change a human rights issue. Now, for her efforts, she's won an International Right Livelihood Award, also known as an "alternative Nobel."
