Arts & Culture events in Quebec: March 28th
EXHIBITS:
The Foreman Art Gallery of Bishop's University is presenting the 15th annual Graduating Fine Arts Student Exhibition. The exhibition features works in photography, painting, sculpture, print-media, performance and installation by nine graduating fine arts students that explore notions of embodiment and identity. It runs until April 6th. (Facebook event)
CONCERTS:
Thursday, March 28th catch the self-described "hairy brothers" Guillaume and Maxime Chiasson, who make up rock n' roll duo PONCTUATION. They are releasing their debut album, 27 Club. Tickets are 5$ for the show, 10$ for the CD and the show, or 15$ for the vinyl record the the show. At Le Cercle, in Quebec City. (Facebook event)

FILM:

Antitube is collaborating with the Musée de Civilization, in Quebec City. E TU AKE: MAORI STANDING STRONG has been on display since November 2012, showcasing the art and culture of indigenous peoples in New Zealand. Antitube decided to complement that exhibit by screening films made by contemporary Maori directors.
Sunday, as part of Horizon Maori, the 2010 film "Boy" is being screened at 3 pm. The cost is 5$ for members of the Museum and/or Antitube, 7$ for non-members.
