Quebec's early feminists honoured by new statue

grey-casgrain.JPGGeneviève Grey studies law in Quebec and just so happens to have a famous grandmother who is known for her work on the legal status of women: Marie-Claire Kirkland. In December, a statue of Kirkland and three other feminist pioneers was unveiled next to the National Assembly of Quebec. CBC's Julia Caron met with Grey to talk about what this statue represents for women's rights in Quebec.
