Learning tools for children with autism

There are many different obstacles to learning for autistic children. For some, it begins with difficulties recognizing letters and words, or understanding oral instructions, or having the motor capacity to write.

11-year old Justine and 12-year old Florence both have autism, and both have faced those learning challenges. But their parents say the use of handheld tablets have helped them make great strides. After seeing the difference, their mothers decided to create a foundation to provide tablets for other children.

Catherine Chevrette is the mother of Justine, ad Nancy Ménard-Cheng is the mother of Florence. Together, they have created the Fondation Justine et Florence, and join us to tell us more.
