Townshippers Association presents "They Came From Away"

camefromaway.jpgWhere were you when 9/11 happened? It's a question that is posed often, and some have come up with creative answers... like Trevor McKinven. The former North Hatley resident wrote a play -- "They Came From Away" -- inspired by the residents of Gander, Newfoundland. They welcomed travellers from around the world to their town on that September day, when all air traffic in the region was grounded. This Saturday, the play is being staged in Cowansville. Trevor McKinven tells us why it's so important for him to help the community he can't stay away from.
