Possible dog fighting ring in the Eastern Townships

Animal protection officials in the Eastern Townships have discovered a disturbing case of animal cruelty. The SPA des Cantons (**pictures could be disturbing) found a drowned pitbull under a bridge. The dog had been shot and there were other signs of abuse.

Officials say it's possible it's linked to a dog fighting ring. We spoke to Carl Girard, Director of the SPA des Cantons in Cowansville.
