Potential Orléans Express competitor steps down

Bus carrier Orléans Express has obtained authorization from Quebec's Transport Commission to cut its rates in half during certain periods. One-way tickets between Quebec and Montreal could be sold for as little as $20.60. But a company that was seeking to offer cheap shuttle service between the two cities, Go Navette, is questioning the timing of the Commission's decision, that came only days before their own permit hearing. Go Navette has now suspended its project.

Marc-André Varin, Vice-President of Business Development, Marketing and Communications for Keolis Canada that manages Orleans Express, joined us this morning to comment.
