Latest efforts for safe injection sites in Quebec

needle_cpimages.jpgLast week, a needle clean-up blitz in Quebec City's parks led volunteers to find 59 discarded needles.

And while the city of Toronto is one step closer to having a supervised injection site for drug users, the debate is ongoing is other cities across the country.

ADDICQ, an association for the defense of rights and inclusion of people who use drugs in Quebec, participated in the clean-up in Quebec City. Its representative, Pierre Frappier, came to our studios to discuss the issue.
