Donations for Quebec City families left homeless by fire

If you heard the news story this morning about immigrant families left homeless by a fire in Limoilou and are wondering how to help, here's what the borough office is suggesting:

1. Non-perishable items, dishes, hygiene items, sheets, small appliances can be dropped off at MP Raymond Côté's office: 2000 ave Sansfacon, bureau 101 today between 9 AM and 7 PM. The office is closed on the weekend, but will accept donations Monday, too.

2. Large appliances & furniture: you can bring them to Maison Agapè, 3148 chemin Royal Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM. They have a pickup service you can call: 418 661-7485.

3. Cash donations can be made through the Red Cross: 1 877 362-2433.
