Town of Stanstead gets a minor facelift

Stanstead 2-20121017-00138.JPG
Stanstead, once an economic centre in southern Quebec, had grown quiet over the last half century. Its small town centre, home to many heritage buildings, fell into disrepair.
But thanks to Gabriel Safdie and other investors, residents and artists, the border town's core is getting some TLC.

Some new ideas and restored venues hope to make that core vibrant once again. Our Townships correspondant Sarah Rogers spent some time in Stanstead and brings us that story.
