Corrections Canada cuts

Corrections Canada is facing nearly $300 million in cuts, under the new federal budget.

The operational cuts come as Canada's prisons are expanding their infrastructure, to deal with an expected influx of inmates following the passing of Bill C-10, the federal omnibus crime bill.

Susan speaks with Howard Sapers, Correctional Investigator of Canada about how the prison system will deal with the cuts.
