CBC Program Guide

CBC Television's launch pad for creative expression, Zed explores street level culture with an exciting new three-night format starting January 3. Tune in at 11:25 pm on CBC Television.

Tuesdays, Zed Real digs into real life stories with host, Jarrett Martineau. Viewers will be taken on an energetic globetrotting tour exploring the experiences of the everyday. Via documentary film and the web, Zed Real delves into private realities, daily passions and human curiosities. It's about reflecting the diversity of lives we encounter along the way.

Wednesdays, Trish Williams, Suzanne Bastien and Zorana Sadiq invade their comfort zone (and the viewers) as they showcase revealing short films on Zed Candid. Each week it will present an evening of film followed up by conversations they inspire. It's about exploring stories that open doors to places we all want to go.

Thursdays, Zed Tunes will shuffle you into the weekend as DJ Jenna Chow tips viewers off to the best new music from Canada and beyond. An eclectic mix of old faves and new discoveries scrambled in fresh combinations, Zed Tunes reflects the way music is listened to today. Chow will roam the music community for talent, giving today's music context and making it accessible, and available. It's all about sharing the music that we're excited about.

Even better, Zed is available 24/7 on the web with a new look and more interactive features to keep Canadians plugged in.
