Lana Gay

Lana Gay

Lana Gay is CBC Radio 3's music and pop culture maven. Her show ?Lanarama? is simulcast daily from 2-5pm PT on Sirius 86 and CBCRadio3.com. She is fixated on independent Canadian music and enjoys blogging about oddities, technology and food culture. She got her start in radio at 102.1 The Edge in Toronto, then travelled west to become the indie music director at 99.3 the Fox in Vancouver. She happily joined Radio 3 in 2007.

Lana is proud to hail from Leamington, Ontario, where she was raised on Motown music and Hungarian food (an underrated combo, really). She won the ?Most Likely to Save the World? award in high school and knows the value of a cold beer, an old record and a sassy pair of boots. Once, she tried to chase a rainbow and ended up in Blenheim, Ontario.
