Greg Rasmussen

Greg Rasmussen has been Alberta's national reporter for CBC radio news since the year 2000.

In the aftermath of September 11th, 2001, Greg reported from New York city on the destruction and devastation in the weeks following the attacks. He went on to cover the Anthrax attacks which killed people and spread fear in New Jersey, New York and other parts of the U.S.

Greg also produced an award-winning feature documentary on biological warfare, called 'Beyond Anthrax,' as well as other feature stories on this emerging terrorist threat.

He has spent time filling in as a correspondent for the CBC in the Middle East, Britain and Washington D.C.

Greg began his journalism career in Whitehorse, with the Whitehorse Star newspaper, moved on to the daily Vancouver Province newspaper and then joined CBC radio in 1991 in Vancouver.

In Vancouver, Greg worked as a reporter, host, and producer before moving to Calgary.
