Carolyn Stokes is the host of CBC News: Here & Now Late Night. Carolyn joined CBC Newfoundland and Labrador in 2011 as a reporter and shortly thereafter stepped into the role as co-anchor of CBC News: Here & Now Late Night and Here & Now Saturday. Born and raised in Mount Pearl, Carolyn graduated from Memorial University with a degree in Arts (English major and Business minor). Before coming to CBC, she worked as an arts reporter at The Newfoundland Herald and video journalist on NTV. Her work was recognized with an Atlantic Journalism Award for arts and entertainment writing in 2003. Stokes cites that it's a privilege to report stories that matter to people, especially in a province known for its wealth of amazing storytellers.
