Secret Life of... - (1-05) Marie Antoinette
We remember her for four famous words she didn't actually say: “Let them eat cake”. But her image as the Queen of Wretched Excess has endured: her over-the-top dresses, her gambling addiction, her pouffed hair! But did she get a bad rap? We learn about her painful transformation from geeky teenager to the vixen of Versailles, and what life in the palace was really like until her death guillotine.

Secret Life of... - (1-06) Lord Byron
He was a playboy poet and one of the first true celebrities in history. Lord Byron wrote words that made women swoon (and a few men). One of the great Romantic poets, he embraced fame like no other...with his flamboyant flare for fashion, his manic obsession with his weight, and even a celebrity cause (he supported the Greek fight for independence). Byron set the stage for celebrities to come, 200 years before the antics of Madonna or Lady Gaga. Welcome to the Secret Life of Lord Byron.
