In 1991, we told the tale of The Flying Bandit. He was one of Air Canada’s best customers. Flying from city to city in Canada – to rob banks. Gilbert Galvan boasted he robbed 21 banks in year. He never used the gun he carried, but he managed to rake in $2 million. He was eventually caught, jailed in Canada and then set free after serving his time. But recently his name grabbed headlines again – and it was not a happy tale.
