Louis and Clarence McCallum — who have over 60 years of firefighting experience between them — made the risky decision to burn potential wildfire fuel and create a protective ring around their family cabin in northern Saskatchewan. As the flames closed in on them, they made a quick escape and managed to save the cabin.
