St. John's lost an iconic resident this week. Wayne Skinner, known as the "Governor of Georgetown", passed away in hospital. Skinner made his living collecting recyclables, but it was his attitude towards life that made him so endearing. In 2008, CBCNL produced this profile of Skinner.
