Brampton Civic and Etobicoke General hospitals in Ontario have initiated a "code orange" as COVID-19 patients requiring care and staffing shortages put tremendous strain on its operations. The move allows the hospitals to focus on caring for acutely ill patients while deferring less urgent activities, an official said.
