Saskatchewan Teachers Federation president makes a case for negotiating class size in provincial contract
Negotiations between the Ministry of Education and the province's teachers continued for two days this week...and more talks are scheduled. Both sides are publicizing their offers. The Ministry is proposing a two per cent salary increase next year and the year after AND a 15 hundred dollar lump sum payment. But its offer DOES NOT..address class size and composition - a key concern for teachers.
