Lots of cars these days have features that automatically slow down if you get too close to the car in front of you. Or alert you if you drift out of your lane So do these features mean drivers are paying less attention when behind the wheel? Francesco Biondi is a Human Kinetics professor at the University of Windsor. He and his engineering partners are trying to find out about the "Cognitative load" placed on drivers of automated vehicles.
