Alberta's Blue Ribbon Panel report recommends budget cuts

The Alberta government has a spending problem and needs to make substantial cuts. That's according to a blue ribbon panel report on Alberta's finances that was released to the public today. The panel was struck to examine government spending heading into the UCP's first provincial budget. Lindsay Tedds examined the report. She is the Scientific Director of fiscal and economic policy at the University of Calgary.
