Former premier Roy Romanow co-authors book on Allan Blakeney

Saskatoon Morning

The politics we see around us in the world today is pretty different from years gone by. That's why Roy Romanow and David McGrane think we should go "Back to Blakeney"... Roy Romanow was deputy premier and attorney-general in Allan Blakeney's government. He served as Premier of Saskatchewan from 1991 to 2001. David McGrane is an associate professor of Political Science at St. Thomas More College at the U of S. Both are editors of the new book "Back to Blakeney: Revitalizing the Democratic State". It's about the political legacy of Allan Blakeney, who was this province's premier from 1971 to 1982. They spoke with Saskatoon Morning's Heather Morrison.
