New hope for Canadians dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome?
There could be some answers coming to Montrealers living with myalgic encephalomyelitis - or ME for short. The Federal Government announced that it will be committing $1.4 million dollars to develop a national research network dedicated to the study of ME. The condition - commonly known as chronic fatigue syndrome - affects over half a million Canadians. We hear from Christiane Garcia who has been living with this condition for many, many years. Then we speak to Alain Moreau, a professor at the faculty of medicine at UdeM and the researcher tapped to direct this network.
