Ontario Minister of Education Stephen Lecce says the new Phys Ed curriculum improves on the last by including legal cannabis, dangers of opioids, sports safety and concussions and other topics. He says that the sex ed portion of the curriculum has been rearranged to be more age sensitive, and that parents will have a formal opt-out option that will be standardized across all Boards.
