Coroner's inquest into RCMP shooting in Port Hardy
On a July morning four years ago RCMP in Port Hardy responded to a call about a man waving a knife and making threats. By the time their confrontation with the man had ended, police had shot the man five times. 24 year old James Butters, also known as James Hayward, was dead. BC`s independent investigations office investigated and found no fault with the police. Now, a coroner's inquest is taking a look at the death. Nora Hayward is James Butters` aunt, and she spoke with guest host Liz McArthur.
