Calgary Filmmaker and Author's New Book "Hippie Cult Leader- the Last Words of Charles Manson"

The Homestretch

It has been 50 years since Charles Manson was convicted of orchestrating the murders of seven people in California including pregnant actress Sharon Tate. But many continue to be fascinated by him, and the crime, it's referenced in a new movie by Quentin Tarentino. Calgary film producer and writer James Buddy Day was the last person to interview Manson before his death. Day spent a year doing phone interviews with Manson. Those conversations were the basis for his award-winning documentary and his new book called "Hippie Cult Leader - the Last Words of Charles Manson."
