Update on the Water Problem in Verner

Morning North

When the water temperature is warm and water levels are high the waterway experiences high levels of manganese. The problem with too much manganese in the river is that it discolours the water coming from taps and gives it a bad taste and smell. Jay Barbeau is the Chief Administrative Officer of the municipality of West Nipissing. He was on the line to give us an overview of what happened.
