Saskatoon Farmers Market is leaving its home on River Landing

Saskatoon Morning

Farmers in Saskatoon used to hold weekly street markets in front of the downtown library. Then, twelve years ago the Saskatoon Farmer's Market moved into its current location at River Landing. It was a big step up. Finally the stalls were inside. People sold their wares the entire winter. That ends this year. The Saskatoon Farmer's Market has told the city at the end of December, it will leave River Landing. Erika Quiring is the executive director of the Saskatoon Farmer's Market. She spoke with Saskatoon Morning's Heather Morrison.
