They were once found widely throughout Australia. These days the population of Tasmanian devils is under threat. The spread of an unusual, contageous cancer, called devil facial tumour disease, has wiped out 80 per cent of the animals. Now University of Saskatchewan graduate student, Paul Lamp, is helping in the effort to save them through the use of computer modelling. He spoke with Saskatoon Morning's Jennifer Quesnel.
