The staying power of cash
The way Canadians pay for things is changing. These days, we are far more likely to use a credit or debit card rather than cash. And yet, the private company that makes Canada's money is banking on the continued circulation of cash for decades to come. In fact, Canada is issuing more bills than it ever has before. And on July 10th, the federal government announced 40 million dollars to develop new security features in Canada's paper money.
