When it comes to refreshing summer drinks there's nothing like a cold beer on a hot day. And while it's easy to pick-up any old brew at your local liquor store, summer is a great time to experiment with new beers especially those with a local connection. This summer, our regular house wine columnist and sommelier Laurie MacKay is putting down her corkscrew and picking up a growler: telling us the stories behind some of the best and brightest breweries in our city. This afternoon we're going to focus on a special "Stampede" themed beer called "Cowboy Crusher".
