Two experts say welcoming attitudes to refugees outweigh the negativity in Winnipeg, even though that's not the case for the entire country, according to a national survey. Rita Chahal is the executive director of the Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council, also called Welcome Place. Maysoun Darweesh is a former refugee who now works to help settle newcomers in Winnipeg. They join Julie Dupre in studio.
