A new national Indigenous health research plan is making sure Indigenous people are in charge of the agenda

Indigenous people will be taking the lead when it comes to research into their own health. That's the goal of the new five-year plan of the national Institute of Indigenous Peoples' Health... and this new strategic plan will guide a research investment of about $43 million to 2024. Carrie Bourassa is the Institute of Indigenous People's Health at the University of Saskatchewan's scientific director. He spoke to host Garth Materie about the new plan.
